OVERVIEW
Wildland was created to solve a clear problem faced by outdoor adventurers: outdated and ineffective solutions for Poison Oak and Ivy exposure. After firsthand experience on the trails of central California, the founding team identified an opportunity to develop a modern line of products designed specifically for trail runners, mountain bikers, and everyday explorers.
Over the past five years, the brand has launched three core products: a biodegradable wash with activated charcoal, a relief scrub, and the industry’s first single-use Poison Oak and Ivy removal wipes. This innovation helped establish a new category and has since been replicated by larger competitors. Wildland products are now sold nationwide through REI, independent outdoor retailers, Amazon, and Walmart. With a continued focus on a wipe-first strategy, the company is introducing bamboo-based materials and expanding into new use cases, including dog-safe wipes and full-body cleansing wipes. A mosquito repellent wipe is planned for release in 2025 as Wildland moves toward becoming a category leader in outdoor skincare protection.
